Needel, Welch & Stone Supports South Shore Habitat for Humanity
Employees help rebuild a Stoughton home; contribute $1500 to the charity also.
ROCKLAND, MA, ISSUED NOVEMBER 7, 2008… 
Employees of Needel, Welch & Stone, P.C., a CPA firm located in Rockland that has been serving the needs of businesses and individuals for more than 40 years, recently spent a day volunteering with South Shore Habitat for Humanity.
Shareholders and employees of Needel, Welch & Stone participated in the corporate volunteer day at the South Shore Habitat for Humanity build site in Stoughton. In addition to the volunteer work, the CPA firm contributed $1,500 to Habitat for Humanity.
South Shore Habitat for Humanity helps families living in inadequate housing to build and move into simple, decent homes of their own.Since the organization's inception in 1986, 43 homes in 18 towns have been completed, helping over 70 adults and 150 children build a place to call home.
"The individual members of our firm are very active in their communities and that mindset carries through to the philosophy of the firm as a whole," said Kevin White, Managing Principal at Needel, Welch & Stone. "Getting out of the office for the day and working as a construction team to benefit a local family in need is a very rewarding experience." He continued, "Our employees are quick to admit that they learned something new during their volunteer efforts and appreciate that the firm supports and provides such opportunities."
