Shareholders and employees of Needel, Welch & Stone participated in the corporate volunteer day at the South Shore Habitat for Humanity build site in Brockton. In addition to the volunteer work, the CPA firm contributed $1,500 to Habitat for Humanity.

South Shore Habitat for Humanity helps families living in inadequate housing to build and move into simple, decent homes of their own.  Since the organization’s inception in 1986, 42 homes have been built in partnership with over 70 adults and over 140 children. The original house at the Brockton build site was lost to a house fire in December of 2005. The owners and their six children, members of the Brockton community for several years, hope to return to their home by the Holidays.
