Tim Barry of Abington to head new division
Needel, Welch & Stone Establishes New Practice Area:
Personal Financial Planning Group
ABINGTON AND ROCKLAND MA, ISSUED MAY 4, 2005. Needel, Welch & Stone, P.C., one of the area's leading
CPA firms, has formed the Personal Financial Planning Group to better serve the planning needs of individuals
and their families.Service offerings include retirement, college education, and estate planning, as
well as cash flow and budgetary projections. Tax compliance for individuals, trusts and estates are
also included.
Seventeen-year veteran Senior Tax Manager, Timothy Barry of Abington, a Certified Financial Planner TM practitioner and Certified Public Accountant will direct the Personal Financial Planning Group.
The goal of the group is to work with individuals and business owners to meet their personal financial planning needs. According to Barry, "Our focus is mainly on individuals, but a good portion of some people's wealth is tied up in their business, so we will work with those who need planning on a personal basis and with their business."
Barry holds a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, in addition to his CFP ® and CPA.
Barry is an accounting graduate of Stonehill College in Easton, MA and holds a Master's in Taxation
Degree from Bentley College, Waltham, MA . He is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of CPA's and serves on the executive committee of the
Norfolk and Plymouth County Estate and Business Planning Council.

Barry is a resident of Abington with his wife and two children. For the past ten years, he has served on the Town of Abington 's Planning Board.
