Professional Background
Jim is a Principal at Needel, Welch & Stone, P.C. and in this capacity, he oversees systems consulting for privately-owned companies (in a wide variety of industries) and not-for-profit organizations. Jim has varied industry experience, including independent schools, clubs and other not-for-profit organizations, manufacturing/distribution and retail. Jim has worked with many of our clients on selecting, installing and implementing mid-range accounting software packages and has performed operational reviews of accounting practices and procedures for professional service firms, retailers, distributors and not-for-profit organizations.
Jim is also a Partner in New England Systems and Solutions, LLC. (NESS), an affiliate company of Needel, Welch & Stone, P.C. Jim directs all services for New England Systems and Solutions, focusing on client relations, as well as, providing implementation and conversion assistance and ongoing support for all clients. NESS is a value-added reseller (VAR) for Kintera Fundware and AccuFund (leading accounting software solutions for not-for-profit organizations) as well as Kintera Sphere (a web-based fundraising and development software solution for not-for-profit organizations). In addition, Jim directs efforts to assist clients with the implementations of Peachtree and QuickBooks accounting software. He has worked with clients on general ledger conversions to either system
